PC Mall Gov-GMRI, a contract holder since SEWP I, continues our successful SEWP relationships with two SEWP IV awards. Mass sever storage class, specializing in systems to store and retrieve from gigabytes to pedabytes of data. Advance Video and Teleconference, allow GNRI to further expand in video conferencing business area and will bring exciting new opportunities with both manufacturer partners and customers.

In addition to storage and video conferencing products, GMRI also maintains a robust offering of platforms from multi purpose to high performance computing, peripheral, network and security. On SEWP IV, GMRI teams with prominent IT manufacturers like IBM, Sun, HP, Microsoft, Apple, and many of the specialties IT manufacturers not found on other Federal contract vehicles.

The DoD IG, in collaboration with the NASA IG, recently completed an audit of DoD procurements made through the NASA SEWP contract. The report includes recommendations on how to DoD can best utilized this acquisition vehicle. The DoD recommends the department take maximum advantage of the free on site training offered by NASA and to routinely utilize SEWP's on-line RFQ tool. The department concurs with these recommendations.
